Hi there! My name is Alyssa, I’m the owner and lead planner at Alyssa Arlene Events. We’ve been in the wedding industry for about 5 years now with most of our weddings in and around Lafayette, but you can also find us traveling to Baton Rouge and New Orleans often. While we excel at logistics and bringing all beautiful details together, our primary focus is always on our client’s experience and ensuring the wedding planning process and wedding day are stress free. We appreciate the beauty in amazing centerpieces and hand lettered invitations and understand the complexities of layouts and timelines well.
WEDDING TIPS:
- My biggest piece of advice (obviously) for a bride is to hire a planner. It may seem like an additional expense but in the long run, we are able to save you hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars.
- In addition to that, my second tip is to choose your vendors wisely. Another great reason to hire a planner, we know and have worked with many professional wedding vendors before and have the knowledge of knowing who will do a great job for you. Choosing professional wedding vendors, whether it’s a photographer, florist or planner is so important.
- My final piece of advice is not to sweat the small stuff. I tell all of my clients that at the end of the day, all that matters is that you’re marrying the love of your life and truly, that’s all that matters. We’re there to take care of everything else. We focus on the details of the wedding so you can focus on your marriage.
