MOTIF FASHION SHOOT | VOL. 1 No 1.

Behind the Scenes at our first styled fashion shoot, MOTIF collaborated with the holy trinity of style: stylist, hair and makeup artist and a photographer. All we needed was the perfect location and cosmic timing: for all the elements to come together. Fashion is a lifestyle and our biggest expression of individuality. MOTIF’s approach to creating interestingly style shoots is to create and highlight the artful and playful side of bridal fashion—and life! “One sees clearly only with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eyes”, Antoine de Saint Exupery says. MOTIF focuses on the visual aspect between fantasy and imagination, and implores the woman to see through her own eyes what she will look like as she takes the walk down the aisle.

There’s something magical about playing dress-up, trying on our mothers’ or their mothers’ finery from a bygone day. It’s as if we can step into the glittery moments they once lived when we slip into their gowns, as if the fabric itself holds the magic that launched a new life.
